Slide 1: The boyfriend, girlfriend and the best friend text each other that they are on their way to the park.

Slide 2: Everyone arrives at the park and starts to greet each other.

Slide 3: The girlfriend looks towards the boyfriend excited; the boyfriend would then notice and turn away in disgust.

·       - Close up of the boyfriend’s disgusted face

Slide 4: The boyfriend and his friend walks away from the girlfriend while talking and laughing. The girlfriend is visibly hurt by this.

-long shot

Slide 5: The girlfriend feels left out by the boyfriend’s actions and decides to go home and sulk.

Slide 6: The girlfriend looks outside the window to see her boyfriend and his friend hang out and having fun without her, making her feel lonely.

Slide 7: The girlfriend thinks back about when her and her boyfriend were hanging out and eating ice cream together. They are visibly having fun and enjoying each other’s company in this flashback.

Slide 8: The girlfriend decides to text the boyfriend, sad and hurt, desperate for a response.

Slide 9: While the boyfriend and his friend are talking, he receives the text message sent by the girlfriend. He opens it, sees it, then left her on ‘seen’.

Slide 10: The girlfriend sees that the boyfriend left her on seen and is shown extremely upset.

Slide 11: The girlfriend thinks back again to a simpler time when her and her boyfriend were on a walk, holding hands and enjoying nature and each other’s presence.

Slide 12: The girlfriend realizes that she lost her boyfriend emotionally and romantically, saddened by the thought, she goes to her room and closes the door behind.

Music Video Planning

Our music video will be a general story of a girlfriend slowly losing her boyfriend

 Props:

-a phone for texting, table, ice cream

Costumes:

-jeans and a long sleeve shirt for all the actors (casual winter wear)

-all the actors will wear normal sneakers

Schedule:

11/12/21- our group completed the research of different types music videos and made a blog about it

11/15/21- our group worked on and completed the planning blog

11/19/21- our group worked on and completed the storyboard and blogged it

11/29/21-12/4/21 - our group will film and record all the shots for the music video

12/5/21-12/12/21- our group will edit the clips for the music video and add all final touches

12/13/21- our group will turn in the music video project

Location based on scenes in scene order:

-park where all the friends meet and hang out; flashback of boyfriend and girlfriend hanging out

-girlfriend's house; door opening and sitting at the window, as well as a flashback of a hangout at the dinner table; girlfriend closing door

Backup plan:

If it ends up raining, we will do the hangout indoors, with the friends hanging out in the living room. For the scenes of the girlfriend being left out, she will go to a room in the house and look at the door for the "looking out the window scene". We will do the park flashback scene in the living room instead.

-or we will wait for another day that it isn't raining to continue filming 

Music Video Research

My group is doing a music video to the song "Stereo Hearts". This song has been a key part of my childhood, since my uncle would always sing it. 

This song is categorized as a pop-rap song. Pop-Rap music videos show:

-men in the videos are usually wearing either baggy, ghetto type clothes, and woman usually wear something that makes them for appealing/attractive, such as revealing clothing; both genders may sometimes wear expensive clothing or jewelry to show off their richness. For example, in Saweetie's "ICY GRL", she wears expensive-looking clothing and jewelry and in Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beetles", all the men are shown wearing baggy clothes or shirtless.

-props include cars, radios, cigarettes and drinks

-the people in the videos usually appear fierce or emotional, based off of the song topic. For example, Rihanna's "Love the Way You Lie" is a more emotional type song and Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" is very aggressive and fierce.

-the music is very upbeat and the flow of words usually goes well with the flow of the beat; the songs don't seem boring and keep the listener interested. Sometimes the music can be slower or faster, but the flow of the artist singing along wraps it together nicely.

-the editing of the music video depends on the song. Songs that are a little more upbeat and hype and unorganized have edits that also are very fast and messy. Songs that are less hectic have edits that are more organized and are easier for the viewer to keep track of.

-the camera is usually pointing at the artist lip syncing the words of the song. other times it'll show other people drinking, dancing, enjoying themselves

Project Groupmates

For this music video project my groupmates are going to be Rashawn Granderson and Constantine Feickert. I know Rashawn from my previous class assignment. We made a commercial together for the last assignment. Rashawn was a great groupmate so far and I am excited to work with him again. He did our editing for the last project so I am assuming he will for this one too. He also helped to film clips. Rashawn likes anime and to play on his Nintendo Switch. Anime, according to Google is "a style of Japanese film and television animation". A Nintendo Switch is a gaming system. I have something similar, which is the Nintendo 2DS. That is also a gaming system. He likes games like Mario Kart, which I also like. Constantine is Rashawn's friend and I haven't met him yet. Rashawn said they are alike, so I'm sure I will enjoy working with the both of them. Constantine is in a different class period. We will all have to work together outside of school. We all will need to talk about ideas for the project. We might do something anime-related. Even though we don't know all the basic information for the project, I'm sure I will have a great time. I am looking forward to work with this group.

Blog: Intro to Me

  My name is Hadar Kotzer. I am 15 years old and a sophomore in high school. I was born on August 3rd, 2006. School-wise, I always strive to get at least a B and try my best to get an A. My grades for the past years are mostly A's and B's, and my testing grades are high as well. Interest-wise, I enjoy playing video games, watching movies, watching shows, hanging out with friends, and being with my family. 

    My favorite video is Rainbow Six Siege, and I also enjoy Splitgate, Roblox, and Fortnite, which are all gun games. My favorite movie is Toy Story because of its awesome storyline, characters, and animation. All those factors really make the movie enjoyable, especially the choice of characters and how they act in the movie. My favorite shows are all on Netflix and include All American, On My Block, Stranger Things, and Atypical. All these shows are generally focused towards the teenage audience so, naturally as a teenager, they attracted my interest. 

    Hanging out with my friends is the second best thing that I enjoy doing. My favorite thing to do with friends is to go swim and to play games together. Because of quarantine, I was not able to spend time with my friends too much. But now, since school is in-person I have much more opportunities to see my friends. 

    However, out of everything that I enjoy, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. My brother and I have a close bond, and even though he is 5 years younger than me, we still get along quite well. My mother and father are usually busy, but when we all go out as a family we all have a blast. My grandmother flies overseas usually every few years, but my grandmother came 2 times in one year, which has made my family and I very happy. She has been here for 2 weeks so far, and though she must leave soon, her coming here is truly a highlight in my life. 

    Overall, I am really excited for my first full in-person year of high school, and so far the year is going great, ranging from fun experiences with family and friends to playing video games on my spare time.
